We TV is Australia’s community-driven media platform focused on disability, support work, and positive change. We share stories that empower, entertain, and connect people across the country through films, comedy, advocacy projects, and news from across the disability and support work industry.
What Is the Community Channel?
The Community Channel is a space for people with disabilities to share their own videos, stories, and creative work.
It is separate from the We TV Official Channel. Content on this page reflects personal views, not the official position of We TV.
Who Can Upload?
You can upload if you are:
• A person with a disability
• A carer or support person with permission
• 18 years or older, or under 18 with guardian consent
What You Can Share?
You may upload:
• Your life story or personal experiences
• Creative content such as art, music, comedy, or short films,documentary and even news
• Videos about inclusion, disability awareness, and advocacy
• Content based on your own real experiences
What Is Not Allowed?
The following content is not permitted:
• Promotion or advertising of organisations, services, or businesses
• Bullying, hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
• Offensive or disrespectful material
• False, misleading, or defamatory statements
• Harmful or unsafe content
• Filming people in vulnerable or private situations without consent
• Sharing private or confidential information without permission
Your Rights and Our Rights?
• Your video belongs to you.
• By uploading, you allow We TV to display your video on the Community Channel.
• Selected videos may also be shared on:
• The We TV Official Channel
• We TV social media platforms
We TV may:
• Edit, reject, or remove any content at any time
• Feature selected videos on official platforms
• Manage the Official Channel separately from the Community Channel.
Privacy and Consent:
• Only upload content you have permission to share.
• You must have clear consent from everyone appearing in your video.
• Guardian consent is required where applicable.
• Do not share personal or sensitive information without permission.
Participant safety and privacy are a top priority.
Accessibility:
• Captions are strongly encouraged.
• We TV may add captions to improve accessibility for viewers.
Safeguarding:
• Content that raises safety or safeguarding concerns may be removed immediately.
• We TV has zero tolerance for abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, harassment, or unsafe practices.
• Contributors who breach these rules may be suspended or permanently blocked.
Reporting Concerns:
If you see content that:
• Breaks these guidelines
• Shows unsafe or unethical behaviour
• Discloses private information
• Involves abuse, neglect, or exploitation
• Is misleading or harmful
